We Believe........
The SCRIPTURES of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of
God (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21), revealing His will for salvation and living a Christian life (Micah 6:8).
Our GOD is a TRINITY in unity, manifested in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy
Spirit (or Holy Ghost), co-existent, co-equal, and co-eternal (I John 5:7).
The gift of SALVATION is made possible through Jesus Christ, the only
begotten SON OF GOD, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Taking the sin
of the world upon Himself, He shed His precious blood, and died on the Cross of Calvary, that
those that believe upon Him might be saved. He was resurrected on the third day by the power of
the Holy Spirit and is seated at the right hand of the Father (Titus 2:11; 3:5-7; Romans 10:13-15; Luke 24:47).
The HOLY SPIRIT is a Divine Person, Executive of the Godhead on earth,
the Comforter sent back by Jesus, to empower, to teach and guide the believers (Acts 1:4, 5 & 8).
WATER BAPTISM is by immersion and a command of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19). Baptism
symbolizes the believer identifying with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection, to walk
in newness of life (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39).
The GIFT of the BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT and fire (Matthew 3:11) was promised
to all believers in this dispensation by the Lord Jesus Christ and is received subsequent to
the new birth (John 14:16-17; Acts l:8; 2:4,38-39; 10:44-48). The
Baptism of the Holy Spirit is accompanied with the speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit
Himself gives the utterance, as the physical sign and evidence (Acts 2:4).
SANCTIFICATION is a definite, progressive work of the Holy Spirit, commencing at the time of salvation, which
enables the Christian to live a holy life (Hebrews 13:12; II Thessalonians 2:13; I Peter l:2;
Ephesians 5:26; I Corinthians 6:11; John 17:17; I Thessalonians 5:23). The Bible teaches that
without holiness no man can see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).
DIVINE HEALING for the human body is wrought by the power of the Holy Spirit, through the prayer of faith
(Mark 16:18; James 5:14-15) and was provided for in the atonement of Jesus Christ (I Peter 2:24).
The LORD'S SUPPER (taking of Holy Communion) is a commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ, to remember
His death and resurrection and is limited to Christain believers (I Corinthians 11:23-26).
The true CHURCH is the body of Christ (Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 4:15), of which He is the Head, and looks
forward to His soon pre-millennial return to be raptured by Him (I Thessalonians 4:13-18).
